Warning message: This printer is not authorized for secure printing
The standard setting (“protected mode”) of Adobe Reader X and of the DC version prevent DRM-protected e-books as PDFs from being printed. Deactivate the protected mode as follows:
- Go to “Edit” > “Preferences” This opens a dialogue box.
- Under “Categories”, select “General”.
- Deselect the box for “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”.
Now close the document and open it again. Start printing.
If the error message appears again, please delete the document from your computer (also from the recycle bin) and download it again via our website. If it still doesn't work, send a short email to international@dinmedia.de.
