It is currently not permitted to use standards in artificial intelligence (AI). The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of DIN Media GmbH stipulate that the use and utilization of standards are subject to specific conditions. These regulations currently exclude direct integration into AI systems.
However, we are actively working on a usage model that will enable the legally compliant and practical integration of standards into AI applications. The goal is to create a solution that ensures that standards are protected and that they can also be used innovatively in the context of technological developments.
Starting in the fourth quarter of 2025, it will be possible to obtain an appropriate AI license. To do so, please contact us directly via email at international@dinmedia.de from October 2025 onward. They will be happy to assist you with any questions or individual arrangements.
