This is an add-on to the Adobe Reader that ensures our PDF documents can only be used within certain legal frameworks.

The plug-in will not access any data on your device; rather, it will only make a check of the encryption mechanism attached to the document in question.

To check if the FileOpen plugin is installed, please proceed as follows:

Open your Adobe Reader (or Pro), go to Help > About 3rd Party Plug-Ins - if you have successfully installed the plug-in, it will show as "FileOpen WebPublisher".

To check which plug-in version you have, open Acrobat Reader and go to Help -> Info about add-ons from other manufacturers and click on “FileOpen Client". A window will then open, telling you which version you are using.
